The programme aims to equip the Service industry leaders and selected team members with problem solving tools and techniques to decrease reliance on manpower, innovate and improve productivity through service design.


Enterprises can learn about:

  • Applicable Service Design tools and techniques – customer-centric tool: Service Blueprint
  • Global perspective through overseas company visits
  • Job redesign methods

What are the outcomes enterprises can expect from the programme?

  • A feasible transformation blueprint for immediate execution and a future casted blueprint
  • Job Redesign for five (5) non-unique job roles with new OJT Training Plans
  • A future (3 to 5 years) service blueprint through future casting
  • Up to 5 days Overseas Study Mission
  • Explore and onboard potential WSG initiatives to support the job redesign

The enterprise decision makers from the C-suite, management, and directorial roles should form the Enterprise project team to support the enterprise in the service and job transformation project.

The project team of up to three (3) pax would be required to participate in Part 1, 2 and 4 of the programme.

For Part 3, the programme funds only one (1) pax.

Overseas Study Mission funds 1 pax for the overseas programme which includes:

  • Accommodation (selected based on convenience of visits)
  • Meals within programme hours (daily programme hours 8.30am – 6pm)
  • Airport transfer to and fro airport, and accommodation for participants travelling on delegated flights.
  • Return flight tickets
  • Visa application
  • Meals on non-programme days
  • Meals before and past programme hours

Yes, however additional pax will be chargeable which may vary from batches.

Charges will include:

  • Accommodation (selected based on convenience of visits)
  • Meals within programme hours (daily programme hours 8.30am – 6pm)
  • Airport transfer to and fro airport, and accommodation for participants travelling on delegated flights.

Additionally, there will be limited vacancies for each additional pax and evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Enterprises who are interested to sign-up for more employees on the OSM Segment, can reach out to the lead programme manager on cost and vacancies.

Each batch of SJTL will conclude within a fixed programme timeline of 2 – 2.5 months with dates and period pre-determined for companies before their registration. The following is a timeline of a programme flow.

At point of the registration: 

Part 1
Workshop Date is set

Part 2
1 Day Customised Guidance dates will be made available for enterprises to pick their schedule. A schedule booking link will be made available for companies after registration process.

Part 3
Overseas Study Mission (i) Date, (ii) location, (iii) delegated flights are set.

Part 4
Enterprises will need to complete their 2 Days implementation within 2 weeks of their Overseas Study Mission Trip. 

 

Resource Experts would be assigned to enterprise prior to the workshop, and it will be according to the enterprise’s needs and the resource expert’s expertise. Singapore Productivity Centre taps on both in-house and certified resource experts.

There will also be a lead programme manager that manages and oversees all coordination and quality of deliverables.

Workforce Singapore is supporting SME up to 90% and non-SME up to 70% of the SJTL programme
fee.

The programme fee covers for 1-Day Workshop, 1-Day Customised Guidance, up to 5 Days Overseas Study Mission Learning Trip and 2-Days Customised Implementation Plan.

  • Registered or incorporated and operating in Singapore.
  • At least twelve (12) local SG/PR employees at the point of application  and through the duration of the programme.
  • Enterprises from the Lifestyle and Trade Industries. (Check SSIC Code)
  • All applications will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Enterprises from the Food Services & Manufacturing, Retail, Wholesale Trade, Hotels, Attractions, Tour & Travel are eligible to participate in SJTL.
